Book Hogs
The Book Hogs are back! AT&T and the University of Arkansas Athletic Department are proud to present again this year “Book Hogs”, a Razorback Reading Program. Students will have the opportunity to win some great prizes and meet Razorback athletes. Here’s how it works: Students must do an average of 90 minutes of independent reading (listening for Kindergarten students) each week for a total of 360 minutes. If the student falls behind one week, they can make it up by reading more the next week. Each day that a student reads, write the number of minutes on the calendar provided and initial that day’s amount. Once the student reaches the goal of 360 minutes, add up the minutes and sign the reading log. Turn this into
the teacher so they can mark the student as an official Book Hogs member. There is a Grand Prize Winner and a special trip for the class who has the highest percentage of students who have returned their reading logs. The reading program starts Wednesday, February 1 and all reading logs are due by Wednesday, March 1. Happy Reading and GO HOGS!
