The Mission of the Fayetteville Public Schools Library Program is to support and provoke the intellectual, social, and personal development of all of our students. Through the library program, students learn to use ideas and information effectively, enjoy reading, and exhibit a spirit of inquiry.

Welcome to the Home Page of the Holcomb Library Media Center. Our LMC is staffed by Karen Harmon, our Library Media Specialist, and Robbie Peterson, our Library Aide and Circulation Manager. Our Media Center has a large collection of print materials for student use as well as patron access to online databases. We are very proud of our Media Center and invite visitors to come at any time. Free home access to our databases is available. Please come in for a visit and ask about this service.

Library. While it often conjures up an image of floor to ceiling books, the school library has the potential to be much more than a place to consume information. “Creating a HUB for digital learning: Reimaging the library” will provide sets of iPads and intensive coaching to a core group of elementary and middle school library media specialists (LMS). The devices and coaching will provide 3,258 students with constant access to technology to develop digital literacy skills and opportunities to create, rather than consume, information. District and building leadership, technology coaches and LMS are committed to reimaging the library to support student learning in the digital age!
