2021-2022 Washington Yearbooks are on sale for $12.00. It is filled with fun and exciting pictures from the school year. Please send order form and money to school or pay in the office. The online payment is not available at this time.

Washington Wildcats who will be graduating high school this year - COME LET US CELEBRATE YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS! We are having a Senior Walk for all Washington Wildcats (any graduating high school student who attended Washington Elementary School is welcome). Check in at the front office at 8:15 am. Join us on Tuesday, May 17th and wear your cap and gown. Come walk the halls once again and let us have the honor of celebrating this milestone in your life. I'm sure some of your favorite elementary teachers are still here and want to congratulate your success with you!

PLEASE REMEMBER to check the Lost and Found area that is in the hallway just outside the gym. We have a lot of things students have left around the building that need to be retrieved. Parent/Teacher conferences provide a great opportunity to do this.

MARCH IS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH!
We celebrate the contributions and achievements of some of the AMAZING women who have served Fayetteville Public Schools!
Louise Bell, principal of FHS when the school was voluntarily integrated in 1954.
Feriba McNair, former teacher, coach, and longtime school board member. She also started the FHS Girls Golf program.
Dr. Mitzi Kuroda, FHS alumna and Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School.
