Many thanks to the VA Employee Association for this gracious gift! Washington Elementary has such wonderful community support.
The VA Employee Association along with Kelvin L. Parks, VHSO Medical Center Director, presented a check to Ashley McLarty, Principal, Washington Elementary in Fayetteville, AR.
These funds will be used to pay off negative meal account balances. VHSO loves partnering with the community!

Washington PTO Social Tonight from 6-8 pm hosted by Melissa and Randy Werner's home at 315 N. Washington. Kids are welcome and childcare available for school aged children. Food and Beverage provided. We hope to see you tonight!

TOMORROW - Monday, Dec 9 - Please attend the PTO WINTER SOCIAL from 6-8pm (this is instead of December's PTO Meeting).
It will be at my home (see attached image for address and details of the event).
As part of the PTO Winter Social we will be collecting funds for the school’s Children’s Fund.
The Children’s Fund was put in place several years ago in order to allow all children who attend Washington Elementary to have an equally wonderful school experience. Many of our families are privileged to have the monetary resources available to provide their children with things such as school clothes and shoes, hygiene products, school pictures, after-school program memberships, school t-shirts, summer camp fees, school supplies, and holiday gifts. Unfortunately, there are also many families who struggle to provide these things. The Children’s Fund helps offset these expenses so everyone at Washington feels like they have equal opportunities to enjoy their school and life experience. Hope to see you there!
